Jennifer Aniston shares birthday tribute to Friends co-star Lisa Kudrow – Therealfeeds – It’s Unseen

The Rachel Green star shared a picture from the show to her Instagram Stories on July 30 to celebrate Kudrow on her 61st birthday.

Aniston posted a snap from the season eight episode ‘The One with the Halloween Party’, where Kudrow’s Phoebe Buffay is dressed as Supergirl for a fancy costume get-together at Monica’s.Aniston’s birthday wishes came after Kudrow recently explained why she would get annoyed at audiences for “laughing for too long” during tapings of the beloved sitcom.

“It wasn’t that funny,” she told the Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend podcast. “That’s why. It wasn’t an honest response and it irritated me.

“Now you’re just ruining the timing of the rest of the show. There are other lines… Sometimes I would just look out if they’d been laughing too long, and sometimes I would just look out and go, ‘Come on’. Really angry.”

Kudrow noted that Friends was “a TV show not for the studio audience” and was actually “made for the TV viewers at home”.

“That’s who we are in service to,” she elaborated. “If it were a stage play, yeah laugh as long as you want. I’ll figure out things to keep my character busy waiting to continue with it. That’s fine.

“But then it’s being filmed and now I’m just sort of standing there. And then you do things that you hate, just like nod, ‘Yeah, I said that.’ It’s terrible.”

Friends streams on Netflix in the UK, where it also airs daily on Comedy Central. In the US, you can stream the show on Max.

Lisa Kudrow is opening up about the moment she realized Friends was helping people through tough moments in their lives.

The actress stopped by Ted Danson and Woody Harrelson’s podcast, SiriusXM’s Where Everybody Knows Your Name, to discuss her current series, Time Bandits. During the conversation, Kudrow opened up about how she realized Friends was having an impact on people

She explained how she dealt with the fame that came with the show when it took off in the late ’90s, noting that her family helped ground her and kept her in check.

Elsewhere in the podcast appearance, Kudrow recalled a time on Friends when she felt like she wasn’t putting as much work into the series a few seasons in as she had when it first started, and co-star Matt LeBlanc helped her through it.
