‘I’m Leaving Y’all’: Whoopi Goldberg Walks Off ‘The View’ Amid Miranda Lambert Controversy

Whoopi Goldberg made a dramatic exit on The View amid a debate over Miranda Lambert’s recent concert incident. Lambert had called out fans for taking selfies during her performance, which stirred a lively discussion on the show. Alyssa Farah Griffin argued that Lambert was wrong to embarrass fans who had paid for the experience. In contrast, Whoopi sided with the singer, saying it was disrespectful for fans to take selfies instead of focusing on the performance.

Sara Haines added that the fans were close to the stage, but questioned if Lambert’s reaction was justified. Sunny Hostin took a strong stance, criticizing Lambert and highlighting the high cost of VIP tickets, adding, “If I paid $757, I’m taking as many selfies as I want.”

As the debate intensified, Whoopi suggested that people who can’t stop taking photos should “stay home.” When Hostin defended her position, Whoopi playfully walked into the live audience and took a selfie herself to drive her point home.

Whoopi’s walk-off was a humorous gesture rather than a true exit from the show, but the exchange stirred up conversation online, with viewers still divided over the selfie controversy.

  1. People go to concerts or fairs or rodeos or monster trucks for the memories for the experience for the fun so if you pay money to go to any big event unless it states before you get there that you cannot take pictures videos or selfies then people just want the memories. Now I do not want to spend my hard earned retirement money to go see a show or an event and it becomes political for instance when the NFL decided that they were going to follow that disrespectful rich cry baby Kaepernick and kneel during the national anthem and pissing on the graves of my blue family and everyone else’s military or first responder families who have risked their lives and sacrificed their families time knowing that they may not get to come home, so these rich overpaid cry babies can play a game and get paid millions of dollars to play a GAME!!! I do not want to spend my hard-earned money for a political rally. It is a game it has nothing to do with politics they make those millions of dollars to play a game and they don’t even care that they are spitting on the graves of people who have made the ultimate sacrifice so they can play their game. My point being if people spend their hard earned money to see a show or go to an event they want to have those memories they want to be able to show those memories to their friends and their families. So I don’t think that those people that were publicly embarrassed and humiliated by someone that makes millions of dollars because of fans that do spend their hard earned money to go see an event or a concert or whatever you pay money to see. So all of these rich cry babies actors, actresses, and sports players that used their entertainment venues to share their OPINIONS about politics or who or what they voted on every 4 years And then whine and cry because someone they wanted to win ultimately did not and they throw a fit like a 2-year-old saying “I am leaving the country”, then I am more than willing to help you pack so that you can leave this free country and lowering the number of cry babies that make more money than most of us will ever see in two lifetimes by all means please leave the country because that will make my day cuz I’m tired of the hissy fits and whining and crying, because someone they voted for lost, and they choose to get up on their soapbox in their entertainment venues and act like their opinions are going to sway people just because they are rich or they are famous it’s like they think that they are going to hurt people’s feelings by leaving the country or they think that they can change people’s opinions on politics because the rich and famous well guess what I will not lose one second of sleep because you are crying and wanting to leave the country then your opinions don’t matter to me and they probably don’t matter too everyone else either so please hurry up and pack and get out. They don’t realize that the only thing they’re doing is committing careers suicide.
